I’ve decided to do a bit of updating on this, so here it goes.
I got the ‘codename’ Sumandu, very simply. My good friend started her own WordPress, and called herself, SiKimchi. it was adorable! (She really loves kimchi, you know!) since she stopped blogging, I decided to pick it up, and my first biases in groups were generally ones with chubby cheeks (Sooyoung, Wooyoung, Yoseob, Sohee) like the word, Mandoo meaning Dumplings, I stuck at the end of the first two letters of my name, Suri.
Um, haha, I’m now seventeen, my birthday being July 3rd, so I’m not much younger than the idols that I adore, thankfully, hehe. I live in America currently,but was born and raised in Japan . And ethnic wise I am German, Filipino, and Japanese. So no Korean in me at all, sadly. Hopefully one day, I can marry a Korean guy! haha.
Since this is my last year in high school, things have been going fast. I’m planning on studying Film in either New York or somewhere in Europe. But my far-fetch dream is to be a Kpop Idol, which I know will never happen. It’s not so much seeing my absolute favorite people, but dancing (somewhat singing) is a really big passion of mine. I’m pretty good, but I don’t have enough confidence to leave everything and go to Seoul. But I do believe in destiny!
Well, originally got into kpop in ’07 when I stumbled on Tell Me by the Wonder Girls on Youtube, and it set off from there.
My favorite groups and biases change from time to time so don’t be surprised if I say something strange from the normal. But I am not a hypocrite. And I am very honest and open-minded. I might defend my biases because I don’t like the hate, not because I don’t think somethings not true. I don’t mind the die-hards until they begin to bash. I can’t tolerate hate, and I will never bash any group. I especially don’t mind boy-boy, girl- girl, and boy-girl parings of any sort. And certainly, I don’t go insane when a girl is with my precious ‘oppa’, and sometimes the other way around.
My favorite groups right now are; Wonder Girls, SNSD, SHINee, BEAST, After School, Big Bang, and T-ARA.
I am an ex-Hottest, and no, I am not that much of a fan of DBSK and 2ne1, sorry.
My favorite idols are; Sooyoung, Jonghyun, Key, Sohee, Yoseob, IU, Jiyeon, Doojoon, Seungri, Hyosung, Lizzy, Taeyeon, Uee, Son Dambi, Luna, and Sunye. I do realize I have more female biases, but I can be picky with guys.
I used to be the ultimate fan of Jaebeom, but after he left 2pm, things were never the same, but that’s a subject I prefer not talking about anymore.
My favorite kpop pairing is Jongkey, I love it!
