to the sound they produce.The are as follow:
stringed instrument
produce sounds when the musician makes the strings vibrate,some example of stringed instruments are the violin,viola,cello,guitar,sitar,mandolin.lute and the piano.

1.wind instrument are intrument that make sound when the musician blown an into apipe.Some example of wind instrument are the flute,aboe,guitar,clarinet,basson,recorder,bagpipes and the saxophone.
2.brass instrument make sounda when the musician blows into them .These instruments are called brass instruments because there are made of metal called brass.The trumpet,trombone,french horn,tuba and the bugle are some examples of brass instrument.
percussion instrument are played by being hit or shaked.Once it is orshanken,a virbating sound in make.Percussion instrument such as the hand like the bango drum ar against themselves like the cymbal.Other
